Strathmore Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Digby Morrell as Senior Football Playing Coach for the 2009 season. Digby’s skills and knowledge gained throughout his AFL stints with North Melbourne and Carlton, and more recently within the VFL with Northern Bullants and Box Hill will provide a platform for Strathmore Football Club to continue to strive for success next season and beyond. We congratulate Digby on his appointment and wish him all the best for the up coming football season.

Digby Morrell’s appointment comes after 2008 Coach and former dual Strathmore Premiership Player, Jeremy Barnard, accepted an Assistant Coaching role with VFL Club, Sandringham. The Strathmore Football Club congratulates Jeremy in his new role within the VFL and wishes him every success.

Calder Cannons Coach

TAC Cup team, Calder Cannons, have appointed Marty Allison as Head Coach for the 2009 season. Marty is a former Premiership player and Senior Coach of the Strathmore Football Club and father of current players Lachlan and Xavier. We congratulate Marty and wish him well in his endeavours with the Cannons.
