About Strathmore

In the Beginning:

Strathmore Cricket Club was founded in 1971. The Strathmore Cricket club will again host over 300  families this cricket season, supporting 6 Senior and 18 Junior teams (Up from 13 last year)  in 2 cricket associations (VCTA and NWCA) The club as also established a junior development program along with 2 day junior training camp held in September at the club, providing our  juniors with every opportunity to improve and enjoy  their cricket.

Our sponsors form an important part in the success of the club. This support allows local families to enjoy the facilities of the club both on and off the field.  The families are all local to the club and are customers of all our sponsors in some way.

The club’s relationship with our sponsors and members continues to grow with the club reinforcing the importance to support local business.

Community:

We are committed to developing sports in the community and growing the skills and enjoyment for our members. The Club plays an important part in providing the local community access to sporting and leisure facilities. The health and well being of our local families is an important function of the Club. This year we have introduced a junior player development program with personalised coaching to assist our Junior  players.
